Season Performances

#

Planning a concert series during the COVID-19 crisis is a challenge to say the least. The musical and logistical landscape changes so fast that it almost seems like every day there is something new to deal with. Through this time of social distancing and isolation we have continued to focus on finding ways to bring music to you and to the region. What follows is less a description of the programs we KNOW that we will share, a more of a wish list for the season through the New Year.  Never has the phrase “programs and artists subject to change…” held so much meaning.

This is a journey, and I hope you will join us, whether in person (if allowed) or online, as we perform, stream, and upload music as we move forward during these unprecedented times.

Fall & Winter Season
To me this concert symbolizes the journey we are all on right now. The concert features music that is suitable for small ensembles of voices and instrumentalists and is mostly by American composers.
These are great fun for the whole family and this year we are going to do them outside in the church yard at St. Anne’s. Each performance will feature a little prelude with some live jazz followed by a movie.
This concert is one of the longest running traditions in Annapolis and we are committed to making it happen!
This work is one of the best loved and most often performed in the repertoire, being performed continuously since it was written in 1741!
