QT #30 Ella Green

# QuaranTiny Series

For QuaranTiny Concert #30, we feature Ella Green, an Annapolis native currently living in Nashville, TN, pursuing a BFA in Musical Theater from Belmont University.  She just completed her Junior year and is a rising Senior! Ella’s credits include GODSPELL (Light of the World soloist), SIDE SHOW (Auntie), 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (Rona Lisa Peretti), THE SECRET GARDEN (Martha), LITTLE WOMEN (Marmee), THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE (Mathilde/Ensemble), and many more.

About these performance, Ella notes that "something that I love about “Lost in Manhattan” was getting to work on the song, and perform it with my brother. My junior recital was required to have a commercial song in it, and Alec came to me with this song and I knew it would be perfect! I loved how much it contrasted with my closing number “Rita’s Tune” from Sweet Smell of Success. This song is jazzy and sexy, which was a great shift in the program. Our dear family friend, Marvin Hamlisch, is the composer making it a recital closer that was close to my heart."
